Muscovy keepers share your pics!

my female muscovy that just turned a year old has been doing a high pitched chirp the past couple days I've never heard another duck make this noise so i was worried it wasn't normal. has anyone else had this happen?

You may want to post that in this Muscovy lovers thread instead of this thread for pics.

my girls will do that if they are stressed or bothered.

well, a lot of other people post questions here too this is like a 5 year old thread.

Muscovies make sounds that do not match what you normally hear from a duck. The males hiss, the females coo or chirp. One of my broody ones makes a chirp or coo anytime someone walks by the pen. Also, the Muscoview became more vocal when I put my pekins out. Before that, basically the only sound I heard was the male hissing. They are very quiet ducks.
