looks like an ancona to me.. try posting its picture in that thread and see what they think. Its possible its just an oddly marked muscovy. Anything is possible

what is that cute one with the brown head and yellow body?

I was just wondering what colour you would call this muscovy mama and her baby. I thought the mamma might be a light lavander pied white head. Her baby is the one with a stripe on his head. The father is pied black and white.

And here is a pic of one of the fathers older daughters, her mother is pied as well as her father.

Hard to say but it look like it might be bite with just a small line of blue going down it's back, that's what I've been having lately and they look similar to that baby just more if the bluish grey color on their back

Thankyou but I just call them saddle back muscovies since the have a large patch if color under their wings but their wings cover it up. I have 11 just like her but all are older and two were those ones that were born in April. I'll post pics later

Curious you have a ton of chocolate do yours fade in the summer and brighten(darken come winter/fall) i am seeing this here... all the chocolates faded back and now are starting to darken up like crazy.

Pretty birds, reminds me of here a chocolate factory lol

Definitely a form of blue i own one.. actually with her clutch several she mostly hatched me females.



some of her clutch missing one and she bred with a black and white, homozygous brown, the daughter missing is another blue combo both son's are black and white variations.
