Can you handle them? examine them close, the feet, legs, do a metal measurement of the feet, the body length. etc

These babies are 11 and 12 days old. Mama scovy is an excellent mama, too. I'm getting hit hard with the duck math, right now. I just got a call to go pick up another Scovy hen and 2 ducklings, lol. I did manage to turn down the 3 Pekins I was offered the other day, though. I'm going to stick to Muscovies and a couple Runners (and maybe a khaki campbell or two) from here on in, I think. But that's it! Really, lol . . .

Well, I went to pick up the new mama scovy and her two babies but they had climbed out of the enclosure (he used hay bales in his barn to contain them) and booked for the hills before I got there. He's going to try to catch them again tomorrow. They come over to eat with a bunch of other ducks that are refugees from a farm gone wrong. They are scattered for quite a ways apparently. The muscovies seem to be populating the area quite a bit. There is an adorable crested something or other (looks like a Rouen/Pekin mix maybe?. I'll have to get pics . . . ) that is paired up with what looks like a very petite Rouen hen. She could be a wild mallard even, she's small enough. She had a nest two houses away that was raided by a raccoon or something last night. The gentleman that had contacted me was really upset. He wants the babies in a safer area away from the hawks at his place. He's lost several wild goslings to hawks and such this year and doesn't want the baby scovies to meet the same fate.
