Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ambi, It has been the worst winter here in Northern Wisconsin that i have ever seen in my 34 years. It hit a low of -55 degrees early February. You have nothing to worry about. lol... All my birds hung in there rather well. They are pretty hardy birds to say the least.
I live much further south in the mountains of NC, and most of my Scovy's got frost bite on their knobs even my girls got a touch, they chose to be out in the minus weather even though all their doors were open crazy things. Did any of yours have frost bite.

I live in south ga. An hour and a half away from the Florida border and some of my rooster got frostbite in their combs, even with a heat lamp on then.

Goodness thats awful, my big Nn roo had frost bite really bad on his wattles but they have healed really well. This has been an awful winter all way around.

I believe my game bantam actually lost one of his points on his comb because of frostbite.
I have a game bantam too, he did have a touch of FB but nothing too bad. but poor NN oh my gosh he was pitiful. my Cochin bantam roo had a touch too. I think my Nn and my Scovys' worst problem was getting their flesh wet and then being in the minus temps. Oh I look forward to spring and we're getting a tiny taste this weekend

I'm thinking about getting him dubbed just for that reason. He's in my lemon blue project pen.

Buck Oaks, I purchased her last fall from a lady.  She his one of my favorites for sure.  Buff ripple i guess you would call her.  She was all buff before her first molt.  Then she acquired the white.. She is a looker.  She is pretty small.. All three females i got from that lady are smaller. She had all different colors out of two hatches.  I got a white, a black ripple and the buff from her. And all the parents were black and white pied....   SO it will be interesting to see what they have for ducklings.  I have a black and white pied drake, a black drake, and a lavender drake.   I may put the buff with the lavender drake in a breeding pen.

If they have babies please keep me updated on this page
