any guess on ages of these two hopefully females? Supposed to be "born" in june. One with more white is mean to all but my oldest drake, and almost as mean to females, doesn't hiss hardly even but now think she is laying as her other more black and drake in pen alone. Oh don't use flock raiser as have been using and now three bags and months later my scovys are getting vit and min ect deficiencies, and khaki campbell duccklings showing extremely bad deficiencies!

Anyone have experience with scovies adopting duckligs? my mamma duck still with her over six month girls still acting broody, more so lately, and I've been curious how to go about best seeing if she maybe may adopt six over two week old khaki Campbell ducklings..

If she is broody (sitting on eggs) she'll have no trouble adopting them. But if she is doing the actual "brooding" there might be a problem. She might kill them.

Well I had two muscovies before on different nest and there babies were born 1 day apart and we thought we could just put the new babies in with the first mom who was inexperienced and she nipped at the smaller ones so we switched moms and the older female ,who had the smaller babies and who was the mom of the other mom , loved all the babies and so she brooded them
