Anyone have experience with scovies adopting duckligs? my mamma duck still with her over six month girls still acting broody, more so lately, and I've been curious how to go about best seeing if she maybe may adopt six over two week old khaki Campbell ducklings..

I put 6 3-week-old babies in with a completely unfamiliar gang of 5 older (experienced) females. They adopted them and took care of them with no problems, even in a pen with 3 geese and 2 large drakes. The females weren't even broody, laying, or sitting on eggs. But I watched them pretty well for hours before leaving them alone. I'd say it all depends on individual personalities.

@barred muscovy,
What age/s are those females?

so my maleof choice seems to have gotten out of shape and now mostly las around only acting aggressive at males through netting. let some other males in and they immediately went and mated with two or three females. guess breeding white head genes out will be slow process.
