males start to differ from the girls at 4 to 6 weeks. Try to post pics then.
*hopes to bring home a pretty new addition*

If we happen to bring home a new muscovy this weekend at our flea market, can someone explain how to clip wings so she dong fly away? If we bring home a magpie, I hope it dont matter.

also, if I take my muscovy drake to my state national for show and I leave the others out, will they get along after 3 days of seperation or should I forget it?

3 days is not a big deal. If he´s the oldest drake, then the next one down in the order may think he rules the roost for a bit, but when the other one´s back, there shouldn´t be a problem. Ducks know each other, recognise each other after quite a long time. There´ll be a bit of head wagging and tail wagging, a lot of talking about the show, etc.....

This blind Muscovy duckling in Orlando, FL needs a home. She was found wandering alone and calling at a small pond in my townhouse community. There are no adult muscovies here, but there used to be four.

This ducking is totally blind, very sweet and and needs someone to give her a loving home.

aw, the poor thing! is their a wildlife rescue or duck one you could contact to help find a home.

That would not matter but what about a quarantine period? call me paranoid but no bird ever just walks back in to this farm if it's been away and has contact with other birds.

My ducklings LOVE the pond, the swim underwater too. Does anyone else's do that. I thought they weren't massively keen on big adventures in water, but mine have, well taken like ducks to water..

I find this varies, some of mine do some of mine don't. Generally speaking they are not like mallard derived and stay and float on the water or do anything to get into it all the time. My pekin for instance have a 'play bucket' out the front of my property because they will NOT stay out of my Koi pond, despite a fence and a net...

I mean like some of males have showed early signs but my females hasn't quite yet showed actual signs but relatively my females never do they just loose a couple of feathers one week have the already half grown back the next week and then they lose some more, and the process goes on and onto kk al the feathers have been molted

Varies by bird, my one duck is looking plucked, others do what you said, drop a few, grow a few.. again depends on the bird lol
