she is adorable. Would do great in the Olympics on the balance beam with her webbed feets.
they don't seem like they'd be good flyers since the boys get so big. But they surprise you!Beautiful girl love the spot on the top of her head. I have girls that were flying up on top of the coop and from there onto the huge tree right next to it. They wouldn't come down until supper. I clipped all their wings and now they stay in the yard at least but still won't stay inside the fence lol.
oh, scary but as winged creatures they sure have that inclination to fly. Best to keep them inside as you mentioned earlier.Well they were enjoying it. If I got too close they took it as an invitation to soar with the eagles. Or at least try.

My neighbor has Muscovies and she'd owned ducks before(mallards)but she didn't know about those Muscovies she didn't clip their wings and they were flying all over the place about 20 feet of so in the air too I ended up catching them with some help and showed how to clip their wings man are they some nice looking pieds too and yes I know mallards can fly too but when well cared for (or If they have mates)tend too stay home
thanks i hope she does too but when i went out there, there were crows staring at the ducklings and she was missing so i think a crow took her, i dont know ive been crying for ages thinking about her, i really hope she is okay. I wont be taking the ducklings out tomorrow, only meredith so i can use her noise to hopefully get the duckling to hear it if its still closeI'm so sorry Bunny, I hope she turns up.be sure to look up under things lil ducklings can get stuck in the oddest places.![]()
