I have one of my drakes who will not leave my other 2 drakes alone, thinking once this cold settles in maybe he'll take of a couple days. grr so I had to put him and the geese[Mafia] out in the large fenced area, now I need to go put down shavings outside since they won't go inside their houses to keep off the snow and ice.

Next 3 days are going to be roughest for them all.

Lets hope when Feb leaves it takes this frigid temps with it. A friend on Canada lost one of her Muscovy drakes to the weather this week.

its defiantly a wood duck, muscovies don't have that type of beak and it has a more long face

The ducks and chickens really enjoyed their hot mash, and warm water. I don't think my drakes frostbite is really that bad. He may have a little blister though. Probably since his knob gets wet every time he drinks.
