Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I have heard the term grits but haven't the slightest on what it actually is.. all i do know if it's super fine, watch they don't choke.. contrary to what some think ducks especially the larger breeds have no trouble with whole grains(or frogs, mice..

) but finer, powdery stuff can cause trouble.

Yes that's true I feed a crumble mixed with scratch & they will choke if it's to powdery so I always make sure plenty of water is at hand so they can wash it down.

Yep, i gave up on my crumble unless i have wee ones about of coarse i just found they were spluttering away and it was unnecessary, so i use whole grains and a pellet..

I put Truffle in with the bresse chickens, and yesterday she was mating my wb roo! Can she be a drake?

Elvis & Trouble chased her out of the pen yesterday, so she has been by herself in the barn since yesterday afternoon.

I may try to move her over to be by the egg layers, but if she's mating the roos, well.. she's 5x bigger than my biggest roo. Will she hurt them?

Quacks would NOT get out in the snow! (She's seen it before, just not accumulated.) She decided to perch herself right in the coop door so I couldn't get the dirty waterer out!
