Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I put Truffle in with the bresse chickens, and yesterday she was mating my wb roo! Can she be a drake?

Elvis & Trouble chased her out of the pen yesterday, so she has been by herself in the barn since yesterday afternoon.

I may try to move her over to be by the egg layers, but if she's mating the roos, well.. she's 5x bigger than my biggest roo. Will she hurt them?
If your thinking Truffle is a drake and post a pic and maybe we can help decide , she/he does not need to be around any chickens if mating is on her/his mind. Drakes should never be given the chance to mate with chickens it's basically a death sentence for them. Then again she maybe a frustrated duck but I wouldn't take any chances.

If she is a drake then remove him from where the chickens are at since she already tried mating with them.If a drake mates with a chicken it will damage their internal organs and what not.Roosters don't have a penis they give a cloacal kiss to the hens passing the sperm. So if a drake mates with them it will damage the hen and kill her and the roosters will be damaged as well.

A couple of my drakes enjoying scraps with the chickens:

When we use to visit my grand parents up in Pa. they had never heard of grits up there but now they sell it in the grocery stores. You need a care package. lol Being born and raised in the south couldn't imagine not being able to get grits.

Are you talking about corn grits? We made some of those a few years ago and they were delicious!
