Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Thank you Miss Lydia for the kind words.  They are looking good I think.   LTNS!!!!  I'm still around......

Those are some beauties! I believe my friend is going to be giving me some eggs actually from her pekin/khaki ducks so my lady situation should be fixed in a few months & they seem to be calming down a tiny bit I think the first couple weeks of good weather has gotten them all riled up! Now I'm going to need more hens actually since I just got another rooster (sounds about right  ) so my incubator is going to be full soon im going to try sexing for the first time

the extra boys will be fed to my new gopher snake & our other boas.

(Thanks Miss Lydia BTW for remembering me!)

Thanks for the ideas Buck. With a lot of patience I was able to get one of the females to nibble a bit of kale out of my hands. Seeing as the compost pile no longer has a foot of ice over it I can finally start collecting worms a few times a week. I fish a ton so I might use fish heads for black fly larvae traps in their pen. I should have comfrey available for them in the next week and azolla in about 3 weeks. I would love to free range them but I live right on a salt water marsh and they're about 20 things that could kill my unwatched ducks.
no don't feed them worms, its not safe. earth worms can have parasites such as tapeworm, flukes, intestinal worms, etc. so don't feed the duke worms, they are healthy for them but it just takes one to get your a duck sick, if you want them to have a balanced diet though i would recommend getting some meal worms from a grade A national standard
