thank you. until a year ago I didn't know muscovie ducks can be different colours. the only ones I had seen were black and white.

amazing all the beautiful colors they come in.

the pic is not good but their chests have brownish lacing.

I would say no but I have calico blue fawns and blue with chocolate genes ( mother blue fawns father blue)that don't show up, so actual blue fawns I haven't really experienced

I don't know where this colour comes from. mother is black and white and father is blue with some white and a brownish spot on his face.


another question: does drake know the difference between female and male ducklings or he would try to mate anything? today my drake tried to mate a 2 months old duckling (as big as the ducks).

They are just blue. The brown is juvenile feathers. It will molt out.
