Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Guys I'm so sad to say that something happened to Rosey

While we were gone today something got him around 5 isn today, as thats when we just got back and all the wild ducks flew off in a rush, i didnt think anything about it because they usually leave before it gets dark. But when i didnt see him to tell him goodnight ( He's one that stays out) i got worried. About 5-10 minutes of looking i found him.

or at least his body

Something had taken off his head, and left the body, nothing eaten just the head was gone. The blood was still drying, some parts were still wet

If i would just have went to check on him sooner... I feel so guilty

In Loving memory Rosey:

he's the one in back in this picture

here he is at the front sitting down

hes in the back again

he was interested in the camera

when he was just days old

I rescued a black hen about a month ago and fell in love with her and how she would coo at me. So I purchased a black pied drake to go with her. Today I stumbled upon two more young hens for free. I guess I have a Muscovy flock started!!!
