The wing feathers will grow back in the fall molt. What happened to the female? she can still have a good life if blind as long as the eye doesn't look infected or anything.

Personally, I have only needed to clip my hens. I hope there was no permanent damage.

no,she is fine.he didn't notice,but she doesn't have an eye on the right side.the male,is fine they just clipped it to...close.
