This guy is such a baby. I only keep my birds for pets and eggs except for the occasional extra roo.

They really are and live long lives too. My gander will be 10 in April and still acts like a young gander. Of course having a young mate helps.

Yeah their average life span is 24-25 years , The Guinness record so far is about 50 years

I don't know much about the colors but you have beautiful birds especially your drake

Thank you I can't wait to actualy hatch some myself and have them imprint. I got all 3 of these at 3 weeks old and they weren't hand raised at all before they came here so they're not very social. They're getting better though. Ebony will come eat out of my hand, I can even touch her occasionally. Cosmo will eat out of my hands occasionally but if I try to touch him he runs off. Cocoa just stands back and watches the food in my hand. She won't come closer lol.
