Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Scuse all the mud and rouens & aylesbury in the pics too. Snapped a few while I was out filling pools this morning. The oldest of my muscovies are only 4 months so far.

Wow, nice variety of color and patterns in your Scovies! Is that a black/white Scovy in the 4th pic down behind the buff? I havwe a blue barred female that looks a lot like yours there. I WILL get a chocolate Scovy one of these years. SIGH!

I was supposed to have gotten all chocolate or cream ripples. The breeder accidentally messed up my order and had 5 american buff ducks in there instead. He did make it right by trading back for other muscovy ducklings, but I had to take what he had left on color. The black and white I'm not a huge fan of and I really don't like the 3 black ripples. The blue ripple gal might stay to become a yard pet but won't go in the spring breeding pens.

Not a good pic, but this is the black & white:

WHAT is this thread doing clear back on page 7?!? SEVEN!!!

I don't want to miss out on any 'scovy pics, so I'm shamelessly bumpin' this one back up to page one where it belongs.

Wow! Waldo allows Quackmire to nuzzle him! Our Scovies terrorize our cats, esp. our smaller female, Tacy. I'll have to get a video of it sometime. When they see her they make a bee line for her, come fm every side, surround her, then slowly move in on her. Scares her silly!

She usually crys to me and I call her over before they fully surround her and pick her up so the big mean ducks can't get her. A few times they had tightened the circle around her pretty well so I went in and rescued her. Though I think she would be fine if I didn't help her out, it does remind me of a horror flick when I watch, so I relent.
