Does anyone here breed Barred Blues?
I miss my boy Freeb terribly!

Wow, momof...., your Maggy looks so much like my barred black Charlotte right before her last molt and if Maggy had more white on her head & neck she'd look a lot like my Gwen. Maybe they're related!

Bleenie, I had some barred Blues early this spring but I sold them all. Maybe I'll have some more next spring.

Well I sold 5 already. The 17 remaining most if not all of the drakes will go to the processors. We will keep the hens, as broodies pets and layers.

I love my scovies. We have whites but I think this group will add some pretty color to the yard!

Its hard to get good pics of them they don't sit still for long!

I have finally got a picture of my last hatch of duckings Aunty. ( she is full sister to the drake closest to kids wheelbarrow in pic below) I am guessing my blues may turn out to look like her I HOPE!!!

And here are the majority of my ducks all together ( minus 2 )

The potential fathers of my blues are the 2 white drakes, the mother is the black barred, aunty is the blue & white, and the not so bubba ducklings are the other 4

......... oh & one of my Australorps who is in there somewhere!

Whoa! Mighty fine blues you have there, cheekychick! The blue shows out really nicely in that last pic.

I am surprised how well the blue showed up in that pic! It is a drab overcast drizzly day here

The ducks are loving it though!!!
