They are Koji (Co gee), Mika (me ka), Sushi, Saki and Demi. I was thinking Edamame to keep up the japanese theme but kind of long. Maybe Ginger or Wasabi. I kind of like Wasabi. Who knows what I'd shorten it too though. I call Koji, Koj and Sushi, Moosh.

I think peepers is very cute actually, we went with opie because my grankids had named our duckling hope and I called him hopie till we realized she was going to be a he. so since he already responded to hopie I just shortened it, so peepers could become peep or pepper later.

There is no translation for female duck that I could find - BUT,
Female in Japanese = (Mesu)
