Snorkeling Scobie!

I feed mine a feed called "All Flock", it's got a good amount of calcium in it so I can feed it to my chicks and the layers & ducks still lay night hard-shelled eggs. It is, i believe, 18% protein as well. Last time I went to buy their feed the store was out of my regular stuff so I ended up with Gamebird Feed(28% protein!) and I noticed that for some reason my younger girls finally started laying.... could be completely unrelated to feed but i thought it was kind of a strange coincidence.

maybe im feeding my ducks wrong and they dont want to lay? what do yall feed your scovies? could a field mouse eat a duck egg? what do yall do to get rid of the field mice?

if mine dont start laying or if i dont find where they are hiding their eggs by the time i use up the rest of their food i am changing feed. do they sell the all flock at TSC i wonder.

your birds are so cute i love the colors. do you trim their wings to keep them from flying?

I use Purina Flock Raiser for everyone and because I have younguns running around I don't use layer, i just make sure there is plenty of oyster shell out for the layers.

Ok if they don't start laying again I will switch to that. I can't figure out what else could be going on. Especially the welsh should be laying... has me worried. Only thing I can think of is the feed I'm giving them is scratch and wild bird seed mix and I need to switch to pellets?
