Sorry about the eggs, yes calls and scovies will cross, you'd have mini scovies. and they may fly away. only because they love to fly. I always clip one wing right after they get their new feathers after molting.

I have Calls and Scovies free ranging and sharing housing. My Call drake, Jack, tries to breed the Scovy girls but can't really get the deed done due to size differences.

Once he's latched onto her neck w/bill he just sits on the middle of hens backs.... and if the hen gets a hold of Jack for jumping on her...... look out Jack... she will bite and pull on his wings and give him "what for." Hehehe. So I guess it's possible but not too probable. And yes, they will fly thought I haven't lost any so far I did have to clip Pepper's wing. Once she was more or less grounded, Jack, stayed around. He isn't going anywhere without his Pepper.

Ok, so as you can see i have more.........This time no crushing of eggs, no rush to the incubator etc.
The biggest surpeise is these three above. I have only ever hatched out yellow ducklings. Dad is white and mum is either white or grey/blue white ( they shared nests at the begining) They were all yellow ducklings too. Can anybody guess at what colour they will be? Could they turn back to white?
Also i sexed these three and am trilled to anounce they are female so we can keep them and i will able to post lots more photos of them

Congrats they are adorable... love the coloring. I am not into the genetics of what color and such but they change so much over the course of a couple months you'll be amazed at the transformation. I can deff say these 3 will not be all white.

Mules. Yeap,I know.
I wouldn't want a tiny scovy for anything other than to enjoy it for it's company & personality
