Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Over here in Australia they like a decent amount of caruncling but it is not allowed to distort the birds vision. They mainly look at the size of the duck. A show quality muscovy over here is meant to be HUGE!

As soon as lake melted across the street my 2 remaining ducks after a horrible winter flew the coop. They come.back to visit once.in a blue moon but spend days on.end.in the.lake across the way. Any ideas how to corral them before they.start.an invasive species in new England?
When they come home try clipping one wing, Metzers web site has instructions on how. and a nice fence would help, because if you clip the wing they can still walk.

you have to have some pools and lots of good food to make their original home more inviting.

See, that's not what I think of when I think show quality anything. I like to think of this as show quality;

Of course this duck is not mine and I think that's an unreasonable amount of exposed skin anyhow. When I get mine I actually want them to have less, not more because I live up north and it can be prone to frostbite.
At least he has eyes.

Are they both brooding? Sweet pic.
Lol that would be funny but sadly I dont have a male duck that will fertile her eggs :/ so shell make a nest out of the dogs food and her feathers and sit on unhactable eggs. It allows her to do something so i just let her be. Can i mix breeds with her or should i be looking for a male muscovie?

My main man, Elvis......He may be going to the fair this year....if we can get ahold of him without getting injured lmao he's a big bird that packs a big punch!

Ellie, sitting on 4 fertile eggs....crossing my fingers they hatch
