if they are all the same age look at their legs you should be able to pick out the boys from the girls the boys legs will be thick where the girls will be more tapered. I don't think you can tell by voice yet because my 8 week old still sounds like a duckling. Maybe try posting pics with leg shots. whole body but with good pic of their legs.ive got 8 to compare with but only 4 are mine
Quackers I don't know if your still on but i have a question for ya, are your girls that are brooding still getting up and washing? Alice hasn't been outside of the house since Wed. I know she drank some water yesterday but not sure about today, just wondering about humidity since they aren't getting wet. Worried..actually about membrane drying out with this duckling thats trying to hatch.Can you post any pictures? legs/feet overall size etc are all indicators...

A feather? well after i posted this I went out and there stood Alice she had been in the pool made me feel alot better, still no duckling but when i listened I could hear peeping, so COME ON DUCKIE. I am beside myself with worry. I'm still hoping for some for you all too.Yes, they are.. they both will come out, swim/bathe.. forage a touch.. they are not out long. Still nothing as of this morning, Hubby just checked.. he poked lilac with a feather to check under![]()
Just sold the rest of those extra Muscovy chicks! Made enough to buy all of my feed for the chickens/goats this go `round. So awesome.They are growing and I am pretty sure I have a little hen and a drake saved back. Can't wait to get some bred and hatched out so we can really get on the ball with it. lol![]()
