Well congrats. you should begin to see a size difference in the boys and girls by now the boys will be quite a bit larger and have thick legs.I have 6 scovies i call them the Floridians cause that's where they came from. I was there visiting my mom and the duck hatched a dozen babies the day i was leaving so i took 6 cause my mom said they never last but a few days there where she lives due to predators so i put them in a kennel and made the 24 drive back to Oklahoma lol. Soooo meet the Floridians
So they are about a month old now so when can you tell who is boy and who is girl?

Well over the next few weeks the boys will start out growing the girls. by 6 weeks you should know for sure.I have been trying to distinguish that but i cannot tell yet i will have to check them out better and see but to me they are all the same size so far
are you talking about the feathers standing up on their heads? my girls do that.Ok...I may have a somewhat stupid question...hehe
We have two musocvy babies (I have posted in the thread before). They were hatched around the end of May.... They're both approx the same size in body and leg thickness. They both make that adorable "trill" kinda sound, BUT...and this is the BIG BUT...one is getting a "frill" or mohawk looking thing on her head (they were sexed as female). Now, I've only seen that on males..that I know of. Do some females get that? If not, my drake/duck ratio just went for 3:1. ACK!!
YES! LOL...that's exactly what I'm talking about. Our gray/white one doesn't ever do it, but our black (I call her "Beetle" because of the awesome colors) one has a little mohawk that she'll break out now and then...especially when we walk into their yard. It's actually quite cute...little punk rock looking, but cute!are you talking about the feathers standing up on their heads? my girls do that.
I see it when excited.YES! LOL...that's exactly what I'm talking about.
