I know what you mean about the girls, they come to blows here once in a while but nothing like the drakes thank goodness. Talking about feathers flying, mine are all starting into molt, it looks like they've all been fighting there are so many feathers everywhere.

Yes, i have some molting going on here.. dusty is in full molt(thankfully!) she was so ratty, now she is looking lovely! and some of the other girls have some partial molts nothing to intense, i wish spot would molt he is a terrible duck for bathing and is scrapping now & then with the other who shall now being known as 'bratty drake" so his wing feathers could use a re-do...

My 3 oldest ducks have to be taken to the pool and made to bath, they always look awful this time of year. They also get wet feather because they won't bath and that means they don't preen.

He's a good preening bird just hates to swim, he'll sit there at a bowl and mock bathe... it's silly and of coarse he's a white

Same as my 3 all solid white. Doesn't help that the drake likes to stand on top pf them either. My gander does the mock bathing thing he's quiet good at it. He's solid white too. .

Holy Cannoli time flies!

I attended the APA Nationals in Lucasville, OH on 10/06 & 10/07. My buddy has 'scovies, so I thought I'd take a few pics for her - there were many, these were just the ones with the....huge carbuckles or carnickles...heck, what are they called? Carunckles? Anywho, here they are - enjoy!

There carnuckles [sp] I don't know how to spell it.
