I have a few muscovy ducks all of them but one are the same age we have some that are way bigger than the others of the same age. I was told if they're the same age and there is a noticeable size difference that the big ones are male. Is this actually true? Because I need to re-home a few boys and this is all I have to go on, lol. I don't want to re-home any girls on accident if possible. I also have a muscovy of unknown age but hasn't really grown since I've had him/her at the moment that one is our biggest duck, its very protective of the ducks and chickens he/she actually went after a fox that was attacking and killing all the other birds. I hear birds going nuts look out the window and see this fox attacking a duck then this big blue duck takes off after the fox and I see the two roll off into the garden and just this big blue wing beating the fox senseless as the fox has a hold of the ducks neck. I'm running outside at this point of course and the fox takes off. I don't know if that's male, female, or muscovy behavior since the other ducks came after as ducklings to keep this lone muscovy company.
All the ones pictured are about as big as the bigger one in the 2 duck pic excluding the blue one who is a little bigger than that.
