They are beautiful I like the one in the flower pot she is thinking "Nope I will not stand in that snow" lol
Yep mine were perfect lil angels when they were not of breeding age. LOL but none of my girls have ever fought and hurt each other. As for your drake I will say duck sex is rough but these girls are built to take it. I've never had any of My Muscovy drakes hurt one of his females.

Possibly she hurt her foot running from the Drake or another Bossy Hen..Might of just been a fluke injury..?

Or caught her toe on something they have pretty long and thick claws. One of my females years ago did the same and I never figured out how she did it but boy do they bleed.

Maybe. I hope that’s it. I did see the 2 fighting but by the time I got to them it had stopped and there was just blood

LOL I know what your saying.
Well I can tell you when I first started with Muscovy's and saw my drake in the pool with one of his girls and he was holding her under I thought for sure he was going to drown her I made him get out. Then found out that is normal behavior and those girls have never been drowned[ now multiple drakes can gang up and drown a duck] but it's normal for them to be held under water while mating when only 1 drake and 1 female But it can sure look like he is drowning her. They always come back for more those girls do. lol
