Muscovy Question

What age do muscovy ducks start showing there mowhawks? I have a duck that i was a told was a muscovy that is now at leats 2 months old and i have not seen its mowhawk.

Generally around the time of puberty they will start displaying.

It's worth the wait. One of my drakes, Kitkat, has a mohawk that flops over at the top. Considered renaming his Elvis.

My Muscovies are 12 weeks and the males are just barely starting to have longer feathering in the Mohawk area and only when they are alerted/excited about something. Occasionally I can see a tiny hint on the gals when I throw snacks around or they get spooked but not as much. I’m guessing closer to actual maturity for it to really show up
