MUSCOVY WITH FROST BITE

Just got in a female Muscovy who was dumped in an urban park, no pond there…?! Probably from a live market as a duckling then people decide to dump... She has frost bite—black edges and grey/black black on her feet. Have a vet appt. today to get some injectable pain med, antibiotics & maybe hydration as she is hardly eating or drinking. I have liquid Carprofen to put on her food. Can put topical triple antibiotic (w no pain med in it) on her, aloe vera. She is a good weight, in a large carrier in my kitchen, on soft towels. Very scared, can stand at present and walk some but sits mostly.I know it is a long recovery and she may lose her feet but I’d like to at try instead of putting her down at the get-go. Gd sends me animals to try to help so it is my karma. Any experienced duck persons who have additional advice? Tikkun Olam (Heal the World) Thank you.
