Mushroom Growers.

I know this is not about chickens but is their any mushroom growers out there. I just got three kits and need advice.

I do, but only those that grow on trees like oyster, shitake, lion's mane, reishi and similar.

I have shitake, lions mane and oyster.

Do you have hardwood logs that have been harvested in the last few weeks and kept off the ground?
I assume you are using plug spawn?
Did they not come with instructions?

no I just have kits I ordered online.

Sorry, I've only ever used plug spawn. Does the kit consist of sawdust?
Didn't they provide instructions?
I always bought from Fungi Perfecti.

It is sawdust but only one type had instructions
