Just as a general precaution:
I would think twice about putting this bird with the group... it may be appropriate...it may not (only you are in a position to decide that) ... if the other chicks peck at him (and there is a "navel"to peck at as is sometimes the case) then you can see how the "infection" may spread if bacterial complications develop (as they often do)... another consideration is that a weakened bird is easily bullied away from feed and water and this can often mean the difference between recovery or death.
If it were me and it were possible I would separate with a buddy , but please believe me when I say it is heartbreaking when the occasional incidence of cannabalism occurs (and not only that but this is somehting that is difficult to break the birds of once it happens)...
