Thanks for the welcome. Horrible that someone would shoot your chickens! The Muskovy’s are actually wild here between our farm and the neighboring ranch. One daddy and 3 mommas - but this year they decided to lay their 22-26 eggs in our hanging flower baskets on our fairly weather safe porch. We will keep trying to coop them in our chicken yard - I couldn’t get them all the way there earlier but they made it 1/2 way to the coop! We will try again here again shortly. Hubby made them a cover yesterday but they still didn’t trust it last night. Thx!Hello, Amy, and welcome to BYC!Glad you joined.
I've had my neighbor shoot my chickens that were hopelessly injured or ill for me.
You need to lock up your ducks in a predator proof coop every night to protect them from more than just GHOs.
