Must stop going to the feed store the day chicks arrive!

I used the little trick that I found here about hanging them from their feet, it seems to work pretty well. Now if I could just find out what these little bugger are we'd be all set. We ended up nameing them, Thing One and Thing Two, LOL.

I have no idea what they are, but they are so adorable! The feed store can be a baaaad place!!!

Two chicks? Three chicks? Six chicks? Eight chicks?

You guys are amateurs!

Our feed store doesn't carry chicks, but people sell them at the local trade day. We tend to say "all of them" when asked how many we want to buy.

(I'm starting to think we have a sickness!)

I wish I had room for more, but we're at the limit we're allowed in the city after adding these two fluffers. I dream of being on a farm big enough to add more animals.

Feed stores are a very bad place

. I went to go pick up some straw for the coop and they had bantys and EE hanging out in the brooders peeping their hearts away. Thank goodness hubby came with me or we'd have more chickens.

Wow, I didn't realize how much stronger I am than the rest of you people here on BYC until today!

I picked out an EE chick at our feed store that was feathering in a different color than my own EE chicks. Started to take it to the cash register and put it back! I didn't buy it. See how tough I am???

AND... after I ordered my chicks from Ideal this week, I dialed Ideal's number on my phone so I could add two red frizzle chicks to my order, and I HUNG UP before anyone answered!

My husband is starting to wonder if I am ill... I can't usually say no to fluffy anythings.
