"Argh!" Wildfire lowered his head and charged at Caleb. "You mess this up every time!"

Typhoon and Monsoon approached Miri. "I'm bored," said Typhoon. "Are you bored?"

Bella nickered to him.

Billy grunted and rolled in the grass,then he returned her nicker.

"I'm ready to go meet another stallion, not either of these two." Typhoon snorted.

"Yeah, they keep bumping into each other, and then they ignore us," Monsoon added.

Cerulean crow-hopped away from Caleb and headed toward the mares.

Caleb was happy with Cerulean. He dodged Wildfire he went back to his mares. "Let's go my flowers. Away from this idiot!" He nuzzled them each in turn,except for Cerulean. He gingerly aproached her head don. He hoped she knew what he wanted.

Billy grunted and rolled in the grass,then he returned her nicker.

Caleb was happy with Cerulean. He dodged Wildfire he went back to his mares. "Let's go my flowers. Away from this idiot!" He nuzzled them each in turn,except for Cerulean. He gingerly aproached her head don. He hoped she knew what he wanted.

"Says the bigger, clumsy idiot!" Wildfire didn't give chase. Caleb was leaving; that's what was important. Now Wildfire could concentrate on Sarah...again. One more time! The bay Morgan collected himself in his show-off mode and neared Sarah.

Cerulean looked uneasily at Caleb. She knew what he wanted, but she found the graceful prancing Morgan more interesting to look at. The draft stud hadn't bothered to court her.

Wildfire found that Sarah was paying attention to him this time. I've still got it! He thought proudly, trotting gracefully around Sarah. He wasn't a clumsy big draft horse; he was a sleek, proud Morgan.

Cerulean looked from Caleb to Wildfire and back to Caleb. He wasn't as graceful as the Morgan stud, but she was impressed by his size. He appeared to have a gentle demeanor, too, when he wasn't fighting other stallions.

With an excited nicker, she moved in front of Caleb, cutting him off. He had convinced her; she would allow him to breed.
