(well, if she isn't going to notice...i can't do anything)

Typhoon flicked an ear. Apparently, the hoofbeats she thought she'd heard were all in her mind.

Jake nuzzled her. "Tempest will probably have hers first. Then you." Jake stood to make his rounds. "Soon I will have two little ones AND two loving mates!"

Tempest was busily grazing and so didn't notice the conversation between Jake and Beauty. When she lifted her head, she looked at the two. Jake was mumbling sweetness to Beauty, Tempest just knew it! Favorite! she snapped to herself. Turning away, she started walking, her tail swishing behind her.

Skylar froze. She scented the air. Another horse nearby! She trotted towards the scent.

Typhoon looked at the others. The standoff between the stallions was still going on with Monsoon apparently involved. Bored, the black mare wandered a few yards away, still picking at tufts of dry grass.

Typhoon followed Miri as she didn't want to get near her twin and her current company. "Have you decided who you will go with?"

"I have no idea." Miri said tiredly, taking another bite of grass before standing tall when she saw the lone mare. Miri nickered to her in greeting.
