Miri rushed to Skylar's side, gently trying to usher her out of the way. "I wouldn't get in this one." She whispered.

"So...you do have a brain?" Wildfire twisted around, bared teeth sinking into Caleb's neck. He ground his teeth in deeply, trying to scrape bone.

"Right. It's my job to find us good grazing pasture, shelter and water." Tempest still wasn't looking at Jake. "Do I get recognition for doing it? No, I get you off flirting with Beauty."

The bite didn't hit bone,but it did draw a trickle of blood. It was only a flesh wound luckily. Caleb lashed out with his front legs while he tried to rear.

Jake sighed inwardly. He had fumbled the peacemaking attemnt. "What I ment was,that you are so busy doing your job,being lead mare, that I don't want disrupt your good work all the time. You have to have a break once in a while. So I 'm here to give you that my sweet."

Billy rolled onto his belly. "I didn't know what was happening. It was wierd."

Typhoon and Monsoon had rejoined Miri and Skylar. The latter was in a state of panic. "He bred me!" Monsoon whinnied frantically. "HE BRED ME!!"

"Not too bad." Tempest allowed her angry gaze to soften, and she nudged Jake's muzzle gently. When the foal kicked again, she kicked at her belly in response. "It's annoying, however."
