Tempest lowered her head, nudging Tornado ahead of her. She wanted to get the foals between her and Beauty.

Monsoon approached Cerulean and Caleb. She gave the stud an angry glare and clacked her teeth at him, tempted to bite. Instead, she looked at Cerulean. "He didn't jump on you!"

Typhoon walked up beside her sister. "Ignore her. She's still...edgy."

Jake looked warily about. He snorted ,trying to get the lion's stench out of his nostrils. He walked around slowly,knowing any unecicary movement would draw the cougar to them.

Jake lifted his head high. He saw a tawny blur,sliding amongst the trees. It was slowly crawling from bush to bush. Jake flared his nostrils,layed his ears back,showed the white of his eyes,reared, and screamed. The tawny blur stopped,then continued to creep again.
