"I thought I heard... never mind," the mare murmured, lifting her head.

Wildfire instantly went on alert. Whinnying at his mares to stay put, he trotted off to check his borders.

Monsoon shot glares at Peanut, Popcorn, Miri (who else?), daring them to challenge her.

Tempest looked at Tornado. He was her only foal, but she was pregnant with another.

Popcorn walked over and stood by Tempest. She liked her andwanted to be her friend. She had no desire to be leader.

Peanut flared her nostrils and reared also. This horse wasn't going to boss HER around!

Bella sighed"I know but you need to apologize to her."She said softly.Bonnie rolled her eyes and whispered to Ben"Nice act,you liar!"

Ben whispered loud enough for his sister to hear. "Thanks! I'm going in for an Encore!" he said sarcastically. He cried to his mother. "But mommy! I guess I'm so strong i don't know how to control my own strength!"

Billy walked over. "That's enough. I can see through your desguises!" he nosed them both. "Come on! BOTH of you say sorry."

Ben reluctantly mutered a "Sorry."

Peanut came down on Monsoon's head,yelping in pain and fury.

Popcorn sighed. "SHE'S always like this." she shook her head. "It's kind of emberrassing...is it not?"

Monsoon squealed and hurried out from under Peanut. Twisting around, she bit into Peanut's neck, grinding her teeth to sever meat. "I'll not submit to you!"

Typhoon dropped her ahead and picked at dry grass. "Monsoon is always like this. She likes to be boss."
