Is it possible for a duck to be mute? Nine week old runner female seems mute… the others quack… it’s the one who was choking 2 weeks ago… now no sounds but breath

I have a Cayuga that I know isn’t mute but she is very quiet and hardly ever quacks. For the longest time I never heard her quack but I’ve caught her a time or two since then. Maybe yours just isn’t a qaucker like mine?

So no sound at all not even raspy?
I keep watching and listening to see if maybe she is getting a drake voice but there is just the faintest breathy sounds like a teeny sound of inhaling type quack trying to come out. But most of the time she is silent. She runs and plays and eats drinks swims just fine but looks a tiny bit thinner than the other runner . So weird, no tail feather, no drake coloration ( yet anyway) born Feb 7 th fawn & white

She was choking a few weeks ago I wonder if she bruised her vocal cords or has an injury somewhere down there that might even be preventing her from eating a good bit of feed. That’s great she seems normal in all ways except weight. All my Runner look different in body weight. My Fawn and White is my smallest and lightest.
