Mute rooster

I don't actually know if he's mute but it seems like it. Hes 8 months old and I'm pretty sure he has no interest in crowing. I took him and his 6 hens in when a lady nearby couldn't keep them. I had my own group of very bossy seniors already but I felt bad for the lady. There are 2 silkies and 4 bantams. What does he look like?( Besides handsome ) and why won't he crow for me!?!

I believe he's a polish, I'm not really familiar with this breed so you might get a better answer with a more experienced person. I also believe he's a she. As far as I can see the saddle feathers look rounded.

Here's two silver duckwing OEGBs one male and one female. What would you say your chickens saddle feathers look like?

'He' looks like a white crested black Polish pullet. A profile shot would help confirm the fact of her gender.

I'm pretty sure you got 7 girls. Male polish have more of a 80's rocker type hairdo, and less high and tight.

Spurs, or lack of them isn't reliable in determining gender.

I was so excited for a minute that someone has come up with a mute rooster, I was going to say breed it and sell any mute offspring so those of us in the berbs can have roosters!!! but alas....
