Thank youI haven’t seen that on my geese or ducks. Let’s tag my favorite goose expert , @Goosebaby
Hi yes, they started off small and same color as his bill but now they are larger and darker. Today they look a little more lighter. Did the bumps on your geese go away on its own?I have no knowledge of swans unfortunately, I have had similar bumps on some of my geese’s bills and it’s always been an abscess from bacteria that entered a cut. However their bumps were the same color as the rest of their bills, I don’t know if that might alter the skin pigmentation on swans unlike in my geese.
Are you able to handle the swans to get a closer look?
Hi yes he’s very healthy and seems to be fine. I’ve also googled and AI everything I could on this and no sadly no answers.I'm sorry, I have no experience of swans and my ducks haven't had this issue.
are those fluid filled blisters or solid or can't you tell? My drakes have bills covered in scars, and some of my pekins have had freckles. But none have had raised bumps!
I did and image search and nothing came up!
I would stay chill and just watch for a while: he looks a fine fellow
These are raised bumps. I haven’t been able to touch them to see if they are hard or soft. So far he’s been doing fine.I'm sorry, I have no experience of swans and my ducks haven't had this issue.
