Crested girl, do you know the breeding of the little black hen whose picture you posted, with the poofy head, not the more Polish crest. We had a whole bunch of hens once who looked like her almost exactly, they were all mutts and their father was our beautiful black roo Dazzle. We only have one of those hens left, but I will post her pic ( I have to take one of her) and also Dazzle. I'm guessing your hen must have Polish breeding, but what else? Just curious if you know.
Angel (I posted her on page 3) is also one of his offspring. Her mother is a Dark Cornish Game Hen.

This is peanut, his step mom coconut, and their baby kukuinut.And they're all mutts.Peanut even has a extra toe.
