My 11 week old pullet is gone...thank you everyone.

I agree that she isn't rotting...... I think this is my own fear of sufferage and such.
I spent some time today at hospice with a friend of mine who will be passing anytime, and not that it is the same, but I just don't want anything to suffer or for it to drag on and on.
thanks everyone.

I helped my girl go by cervical dislocation. I was able to hold her snugly with one arm and do the dislocation with the other. So she was safe and secure in my arms, and i was very glad that i did it myself. It seemed the most caring thing to do. It's hard. I had to give myself a countdown for sure.

Oh well bless her heart, and bless your heart any more. Thank you for letting us know. I'm sorry all of this was just such a stress. But thank you for taking good care of her and showing her mercy by trying to help her and then knowing when to let go.
