My 16 y.o. DD described BYC like this....

I am the first in our family to ever keep chickens, and have spent an enormous time on BYC learning all I can. So it is no surprise to my DD when she walks past the computer & I'm on BYC (again.... as she says).

Anyhow, last night we went out to eat with some family and I brought fresh eggs for some of them to take home. They were very pleased and started asking me how I learned about chickens.....


My DD pipes in when I'm trying to describe BYC, she said

"It's Facebook for Chicken people."

Better count your blessings. My 22 year old son walked by me as I was watching one of the BYC forum members Rooster videos and my son said loudly: "Mom, dad's looking at (term for Rooster) videos again".
