They actually are not due to hatch for over another day. Several eggs are pipped but not zipped yet. Hopefully they kick it up tommorrow.

Our latest hatch of guineas first pipped on day 25. Most of them hatched on day 27.

The waiting part is definitely the hardest. With this new hatch we've numbered each egg, and when we see them start to pip we'll write it down(Write the time when we noticed the pip) so we know almost exactly how long it took them to hatch, or how long until we might should help them.

Got another little one during the night and have several eggs that are starting to zip. The ticks are in some deep doo doo around here.

I have 2 hatched as well!!! Are the shells from your guineas thick???? I am so scared they wont make it out. Must be strong lil buggers. Mine are lavendar babies

The shells are pretty tough. I have been throwing the bad ones I remove from the incubator across the yard and into the field and they are bouncing and not breaking.
