My 1st guinea hatch is on !!!

I had a coyote eating on thrown out eggs the other day right in the middle of the day. My dogs keep the critters away from the pens.

It is picking up now. These are supposed to be pearl gray but does anyone have any idea what the light colored one is? The guy I got the eggs from told me he used to have some lilacs and that he gets one that his pearl grays hatch occasionally.

How many light colored ones do you have? In the first picture it looks like a lavender, except the colors are a little light. Could it be buff? Or maybe a light lavender?

The guy had about 60 or 70 guineas and they were all going to roost while we were still there talking to him. I saw no light colored birds an so far all that are hatching are dark except for that one. We still have some eggs that are starting to pip. I guess we will see.
