My 1st guinea hatch is on !!!

Quote:
You might not want to do that, I used to throw bad eggs out in the field behind the pens. One evening we were sitting out back and I saw 2 'possums come of the woods and head right to the spot in the field where I was throwing the eggs. Then I realized I was baiting them in.

It is picking up now. These are supposed to be pearl gray but does anyone have any idea what the light colored one is? The guy I got the eggs from told me he used to have some lilacs and that he gets one that his pearl grays hatch occasionally.

Happy hatching anyway!

The guy had about 60 or 70 guineas and they were all going to roost while we were still there talking to him. I saw no light colored birds an so far all that are hatching are dark except for that one. We still have some eggs that are starting to pip. I guess we will see.
