My 1st hatch ever!! advice please?

how many days untill the chick need to eat? I dont want to open the bator untill they are all done hatching. I have about 3 more to hatch. Pip started 3am last night so has been 10 hours. any advice when to move them to the brooder?

Hi congratts, dont open it until you are sure the hatch is complete, they can go about 3 days without food and water. however if you feel they are getting weak you could grab them out quikly..But you will lose hum and temp which may end the hatch right there for you and can cause sticking chicks..

if all eggs where set at the same time the hatch should be done with in a 24-36 hr period in the norm.
