My 2009 duck idea

I am going to start raising more ducks in '09. My idea is to get a small shed, break it into sections with different runs, and having trios of the same breed of duck. I am thinking:

Black or Blue Swedish- 2 hens, 1 drake
Cayuga- 2 hens, 1 drake
Khaki Campbell- 2 hens, 1 drake
Rouen- 1 hen (I already have a hen and a drake)

Get out of my head! Sounds like the same thing I've been thinking, except I'm planning to have all Khaki's, some Crested, some not (I already have regular Khaki's)..

Not to be an enabler or anything, but I'd up the numbers of each. I have learned not to rely on just one drake or rooster. to many bad things can happen and if you loos your one male your in trouble.
