My 2nd Coop.

So, maybe two years ago my dad and I built a little coop together. Altogether, 7x6x3.5ft, which is super awkward. Probably because we built it in a day, with little to no preparation. Then it was crudely painted, red, white, blue, and green. It was okay, not aesthetically pleasing but it suit the needs of Dad’s few chickens. So, now I have my own, 11 lovely chicks, and they need more space. So I’m building a second coop, the first is empty and will still be occupied by some of my 11. It’s 8x4x4. So I’m praying it’ll come out prettier and more put together.

first day, it came out kinda crooked LOL and it’s a bit wobbly but I’ll get to fixing that

Then, a lot more supports, a couple places to roost, and the three walls so far. Will be updating as the project continues.

Sorry it was a lot of words and wasted time. My friend passed away a couple days ago and building this coop is really giving me something to look forward too. Not to mention keeping chickens finally has me seeing a future.

It’s been pretty good. I’ve had to make a couple fixes here and there but the chickens are loving it.
