My 3 chickens will not eat from feeders or do not know where to find the feeder

They may not like that feeder, since they are bigger now and the mason jar sticks out further, than the plastic container. Try this experiment, take the mason jar off and just have the pellets in the dish and see if they go to it. I'm thinking they will and if so, you need to get a bigger feeder for them, so they can get to the feed easier. Something like this.

That's good that they stay in the run all day, it will keep your coop cleaner.

Oh, I missed the part where you said they eat the pellets off of the ground. Then it isn't the feed. Blackdog is probably right about it being the feeder, in that case.
